**How you’ll make an impact in this role**

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff through professional security services.

• Proactively monitor facilities and respond promptly to potential or actual security threats.

• Investigate, document, and manage security incidents, hazards, and safety concerns.

• Follow and support emergency preparedness, alarm response, and disaster management policies and procedures, including drills and simulations.

• Provide assistance, guidance, and information to staff and visitors to promote safety and security awareness.

**What minimum requirements you’ll need**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

+ Drivers License preferred.

+ Law Enforcement preferred.

+ Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.

+ Security Professional preferred.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
