The Policy and Compliance Analyst will provide a technical lens to the business operations team, helping our organization make critical & informed decisions involving policy creation & enforcement, risk assessment, fraud mitigation, and platform policy compliance.
This role involves significant interaction with groups across Apple Ads including business operations, policy, product, engineering, and privacy. They will be comfortable handling large data sets, modeling, analysis, written presentations, and will wield a strong understanding of market trends and competitive platforms. They are strong at research and a critical thinker with a creative eye to spot trends and interpret data.
**Description**
- SME in policy creation, enforcement, and risk analysis for our advertising products and platforms
- Aligning business policy with partners across Apple and raise concerns
- Lead policy & risk analysis for multiple countries and products
- Deliver policy insights and recommendations using first and third-party data
- Monitor and optimize policy effectiveness and analyses to enhance user experience, revenue and performance
- Inform our daily policy operations, process, and customer communications
- Develop competitive platform analysis, outlining policy regulations and restrictions
- Develop and maintain centralized Ads policy documentation to act as department reference guide
- Conduct ad hoc scenario analysis in support of product, service, and policy initiatives
- Conduct ongoing analysis of policy, fraud trends, and platform/product susceptibility per market
- Coordinate and implement best practices between internal and external groups
- Support cross-functional teams performing manual ad review
- Monitor and report out policy infringement or fraudulent trends
- Apply takeaways and drive efficiencies with how Apple Ads maintains, creates and enforces policy
- Take actions and build relationships as primary partner for compliance and fraud systems and tools
- Ensure our platform initiatives are aligned with Apple policy at large
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (CS or quantitative emphasis preferred, some academic experience with statistics preferred)
+ 3-5 years of industry experience (ad network, performance marketing, or other demonstrated analytical experience preferred)
+ Background in policy enforcement or digital fraud mitigation
+ Experience delivering data-driven insights
+ Querying, modeling, slide preparation, and delivery
+ SQL querying proficiency
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong at research and evaluation of competitive platforms and markets
+ Ability to do data mining to investigate policy/fraud activities
+ High attention to detail, organization, team-orientation, and able to work under tight deadlines
+ Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills
+ Mastery of Keynote and Excel/Numbers
+ Extensive, demonstrable quantitative experience
+ Inquisitive with an ability to navigate ambiguity as it pertains to policy and regulations
+ Can integrate new information and make decisions based on multiple factors and options available
+ Takes initiative, is self-directed, solutions oriented and is keen to share knowledge with others
