The Customer Service Coordinator proactively ensures a wonderful first and last impression for visitors, patients and guests, and greets and directs patients and visitors to their respective destinations. This person answers informational questions regarding locations of departments, contact people, hours of operation, visiting hours, distribute visitor passes, registers, communicates, screens visitors, problem solves, provides wayfinding, makes decisions to insure the best outcome for the patient, visitor and guest. The Customer Service Coordinator is a self directed position of responsibility and independent decision-making on behalf of our patients, guests and visitors
Education: High School Graduate or GED
Special Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact in a manner that is positive, confident, and empathetic. Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve. Able to be self-directed and knowledgeable when to seek assistance. Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
Bilingual / fluent in Spanish preferred. Basic computer skills preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service position preferred.
