**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, disturbances, and/or medical events by maintaining visible presence, communicating clearly, and assisting with directed response actions.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
