**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site expectations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout school buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or policy violations.

+ Support daily campus operations during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or after-hours activities by maintaining a visible presence and providing clear directions and assistance as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
