As a **Security Officer Area Patrol Driver** in **Ashburn, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observed conditions according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations within the commercial real estate location.

+ Support property operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts and assisting with visitor and tenant inquiries as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
