_Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking candidates for the position of_ **_Principal Technical Services Project Management / Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management (Operations Project Manager)._** _The selected candidate for this position will report to the Northrop Grumman Precision Targeting and Protection facility in_ **_Apopka, FL_** _._

_What you get to do_ :

+ _Serves as the primary Manufacturing interface with the assigned Program Management Office (PMO), Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain (SCM), Mission Assurance (MA), and customers._

+ _Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, line managers, and customers._

+ _Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Manufacturing Operations budget, including Earned Value Management reporting and variance reporting. Ensures that the required manufacturing and test resources are forecasted and secured to execute the job (people, equipment, and facilities)._

+ _Representing Manufacturing at the program Configuration Control Board, ensuring proper implementation of design changes._

+ _Active participant in the program risk management activity, ensuring any applicable Manufacturing risks and/or opportunities are captured and managed in the program risk register_

+ _Supporting and generating proposal documentation as needed to foster new work._

+ _Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint._

+ _Effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with several layers of coworkers and management._

+ _Prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines._

+ _Ability to develop solutions to complex problems requiring the use of ingenuity, creativity, and participation of internal and /or external personnel & teams._

+ _Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint._

**_Basic Qualifications: (Level 3)_**

+ _Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience; master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of related experience._

+ _Experience in engineering, manufacturing, testing, and/or design._

+ _Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or Control Account Management (CAM) techniques, which include program cost and schedule management._

+ _Experience in project management._

+ _U.S. Citizenship is required_

+ _Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance._

**_Basic Qualifications: (Level 4)_**

+ _Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience; master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant work experience._

+ _Experience in engineering, manufacturing, testing, and/or design._

+ _Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or Control Account Management (CAM) techniques, which include program cost and schedule management._

+ _Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills, are required._

+ _Experience in project management._

+ _U.S. Citizenship is required_

+ _Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance._

+ _Experience with manufacturing production proposals._

+ _Experience with SAP and MRP in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment._

+ _Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership_

**_Preferred Qualifications:_**

+ _Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field._

+ _Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement._

+ _Experience with Basis of Estimates, Risk Management, Return to Green plans, managing budgets, and Earned Value Management (EVM)._

+ _Experience working on government contracts._

+ _Proficient in Risk and Opportunity management._

+ _Experience with manufacturing production proposals._

+ _Experience with SAP and MRP systems in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment._

+ _Experience working on government contracts._

+ _Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance._

_MANUMS_

Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00Salary Range 2: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
