Software Engineer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Software Engineer** to join our team in the **Annapolis Junction, Maryland** area. In this role, you will help design, develop, and integrate critical software solutions to support high-priority mission requirements.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

+ Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features and correct defects.

+ Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

+ Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with system engineers.

+ Develop or implement algorithms and database queries to meet or exceed functional standards.

+ Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.

+ Write or review comprehensive software and system documentation.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (4 years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted).

+ Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer.

+ Five (5) years of combined experience using any major object-oriented or modern language (e.g., Java, Python, Golang, JavaScript, C/C++).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
