Material Planning Coordinator II / Material Handling Clerk

**Job Description**

BAE Systems is seeking a Material Planning Coordinator II to join its organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Follow departments material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner

+ Verify quantity and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation,

+ Work with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals.

+ Work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.

+ Print shipping labels

+ Process shipments (ordering trucks/BOLs)

+ Process supplier receipts/manifests

+ Drop shipments

+ Process MRO materials (handling, receiving, and delivering)

+ Process small parts receiving (opening, counting, inspecting, receiving, put away)

+ Process requisitions for POs

+ Send secure blueprints to suppliers

+ Update aged materials report

+ Update hot parts log

+ Process reverse material flow

+ Monitor controlled locations

+ Monitor receipts thoroughly physically and systematically

+ Research and supply suggested locations for put away parts

+ Work and communicate as a team

+ Cross train with Material Planning Coordinator IV s to serve as backup.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ High School Diploma plus 1 year of experience or equivalent education/experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

+ Experience performing data entry, utilizing email, and navigating the internet

+ Forklift experience

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Associate Degree or higher level of education in Supply Chain

+ Experience in Defense, Aerospace, Combat Vehicle product development and/or Manufacturing work environment

+ Oracle Experience

+ Lean Manufacturing Experience

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
