Job Description We currently have an opening for a Mechanical Technical Assistant at our Warrick, IN location. The Mechanical Technical Assistant has accountability for enhancement and troubleshooting of a variety of mechanical drive trains hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities include in-depth troubleshooting for complex mechanical reliability. The incumbent would also be responsible for organizing, tracking, and implementing minor equipment/process improvement projects. Qualifications + Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minimum of one year of experience or High School Graduate or Equivalent with at least three years of maintenance/technical experience in an industrial environment. + Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred Qualifications + Proven problem solving experience. + CMRP Certified. + Knowledge of established maintenance system and Good Manufacturing Practices. + Ability to read and interpret drawings, codes, standards and specifications. + Excellent knowledge of industrial plant equipment and tool capabilities. + Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical and process equipment. + Strong knowledge of PLCs, controls integration, instrumentation, motors, drives. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be required. + Experience with utilizing CMMS. + Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products. + Ability to work on other shifts and/or come in early or stay late as needed. + Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
