- Oversee daily aircraft operations, including safety and efficiency of airfield environment in coordination with multinational forces and Senior Airport Authority (SAA).
- Provide supervision to a team of eight flight dispatchers within the Base Operations Center.
- Handle and accomplish multiple national command elements airfield construction projects valued at $250M to $500M.
- Facilitate thorough evaluation of airfield operations and current situations to effectively identify operational requirements and implement airfield restrictions as necessary, including closing and suspension of operations on aprons, taxiways, and runways.
- Conduct regular airfield inspection/checks of runways, taxiways, and aprons.
- Demonstrate capability to interpret discrepancies on applicable forms/events logs, as well as provide notification to appropriate agencies on appropriate corrective actions.
- Utilize safety criteria for runway and taxiway clear zones, apron clearance distances, zone of frangibility, and imaginary surfaces.
- Collaborate with various agencies, such as air traffic control, civil engineers, and command post to ensure support of airfield management activities.
- Perform mobile airfield management functions and activities for worldwide deployment of United States Air Force aircraft.
- Contribute key information and services to aircrews to accomplish operational activities associated with airfield management and flight planning.
- Manage the base Airfield Driving Program, while developing and implementing a robust airside driving standard operating procedures (SOPs) to robust the said program.
- Closely monitor, identify issues, and coordinate maintenance actions for all airfield operating surfaces as required.
- Demonstrate understanding and assist as required with the Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) Program.
