- General. Act as the point person for all employee relations including issues of pay, benefits, training, sick leave, family medical leave, and vacation, time off, return to work, worker’s compensation, medical insurance, lay-offs and all other employment questions. This will require solid knowledge of existing policies as well as constant review of legal and/or industry reasons for updates. Must create a system to educate employees on these issues and updates. Must also create an open communication system that allows employees to comfortably present questions, comments and concerns. Customer service is top priority. Management must be made aware of any issues regarding company policies.
