**Senior Industrial / Process Engineer**


This position will evaluate and improve utilization of equipment, materials and personnel to improve the efficiency of manufacturing operations. Additionally, the Sr. Industrial Engineer will research, evaluate and recommend emerging processes and technologies for use in a manufacturing environment. The position is part of the Central Operations Advanced Mfg. Technologies Team, providing support to the entire plant network.


+ Assist the Operations and Manufacturing team with the development, justification, and execution of long-range plans and supporting plant initiatives

+ Analyze and define performance measurement metrics and methodology

+ Identifies process improvement opportunities

+ Manages productivity and performance data through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping and/or problem analysis

+ Research, develop, and implement tools to improve manufacturing performance

+ Develop and update process documentation and procedure instructions

+ Execute the implementation of process control software on existing production lines

+ Lead a cross functional team to drive milestones to completion

+ Configure the production line and all components in process control software

+ Work with IS to promote the advancement of new features of applicable software

+ Continuously support production lines with configuration, troubleshooting and new feature requests


+ BS and/or MS Degree in Industrial or Process Engineering

+ 3+ years of manufacturing experience

+ Andon, Visual Work Instruction, Mfg. Execution Systems (MES), Process Control systems & techniques

+ Experience with PINPoint process control and ProPlanner process management software preferred

+ PFMEA/Control Plan development and assessment

+ Proficient in MTM / MODAPTS or equivalent (predetermined motion time system)

+ Strong Lean Manufacturing Competence (Flow Mfg., Kanban, Poke-yoke, JIT, Standard work, etc.)

+ Value Stream Mapping and Process Optimization management experience

+ Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams

+ Strong communication and presentation skills

+ Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn new software/applications

+ Project management - plan, develop and execute

+ Equipment and systems budget planning and tracking

+ Design for assembly & manufacturing

+ Provides on-the-job training and guidance to all levels of operations


+ Engineering and office environment working conditions

+ Travel Requirement: 25%
