**Position Description:** **RN**

**BayCare Health System** is currently seeking a **Registered Nurse** to join our outstanding and compassionate **Pre-op** team at **Winter Haven Hospital** .

**The RN responsibilities include:**

+ Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

+ Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

+ Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

+ Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

**Qualifications:**

**Certifications and Licensures:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

+ ACLS Certification, if required by department

+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

**Education:**

+ Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

+ Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

**Experience:**

+ 2 years of RN experience is required. 1 year of RN experience in pre-op is preferred.

+ Critical thinking skills

+ Clinical skills appropriate to position
