BayCare Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)to join the Medical/Surgical Neurology Unit at Winter Haven Hospital. Winter Haven Hospital is recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and improving the health of the communities we serve.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, prioritizes patient needs, and ensures safe, high-quality care on a Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice

+ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on plans of care

+ Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to support staff

+ Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age

+ Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development

Requirements

+ Active RegisteredNurse (RN) license

+ BLS certification

+ Minimum6 months RN acute care experience

+ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

+ **Status:** Full-Time| Non-Exempt

+ **Shift:** Shift 1 (Days)

+ **Hours:** 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

+ **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend

+ **On-Call:** NoRemote Work: Never
