**How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own**
Our Engineering Internship is designed to make a direct impact on a broad variety of projects and help to co-create and deliver successful solutions to GDIT’s clients. As an Engineering Intern, you’ll play a key part in supporting engineering projects that will support our company's goal and have a lasting impact on our clients.
**A Day in the Life**
+ Performs basic engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.
+ Assist with analyzing customer requirements and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
+ Learn to maintain equipment and/or systems integrity while ensuring compliance with policies.
+ Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
+ Coordinate hardware and software acquisition.
+ Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline from a United States-based college or university or high school (must be over the age of 16)
+ Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)

+ Be active in seeking out ways to develop yourself and gain new knowledge personally and professionally.
+ A sense of genuine, intellectual curiosity and a nimble mindset

GDIT interns are paid and full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks. Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Take the first step and apply today!
