**Facility:** BayCare Health System, Laboratory Services – WCH

**Shift:** Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

**Schedule:** PRN | Onsite

**Weekend Work:** Occasional

**Role Overview**

As a **Clinical Laboratory Scientist I** , you will support accurate and timely diagnostic services by performing and overseeing laboratory testing while adhering to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.

**Key responsibilities include:**

+ Performing diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

+ Preparing reagents and reporting results according to established policies and procedures

+ Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity laboratory testing

+ Monitoring and maintaining laboratory computer applications

+ Maintaining laboratory equipment and supply inventory

+ Performing other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education**

**Required:**

+ Associate’s degree in Medical Technology **OR** a related field

**Preferred:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field

**Experience**

+ Clinical laboratory experience required

+ Minimum of four (4) months of related experience

**Licensure / Certification**

**Required:**

+ State of Florida **Clinical Laboratory Technologist License**
