Federal - Application Developer II

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Application Developer II to work closely with clients and key stakeholders to comprehend and implement system requirements and features. Develop and implement features by using skills with Python, Java, C, and C . Leverage expertise with software engineering best practices, including Object Oriented Design, Continuous Integration, and automation scripting of test procedures. Design and implement software, contribute to architectural, design, and code reviews, and integrate complex, multi component, end to end software systems.

Here's What You Need:

+ 6 or more experience in Software System Design, Development, Integration, and Testing

+ 6 or more years of software development experience with Java

+ 1 or more years experience with Ruby

+ 6 or more experience developing software applications in Unix like environments e.g. Linux, Solaris

+ Experience engineering software applications to support multiple Operating Systems

+ Experience with Object Oriented Programming principles, to include design and implementation of such systems.

Bonus Points if You Have:

+ Experience with Python scripting in development of various utilities e.g. prototypes, automation tools

+ Experience with Continuous Integration solutions e.g. Jenkins and automating test build procedures.

+ Familiarity with configuration management tools e.g. Subversion, Git

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and  information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $105,200 - $168,400

Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500

New York City: $121,700 - $168,400

Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
