**How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own**
Our **Enterprise IT Internship** is designed to make a direct impact on a broad variety of projects. You must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact some of GDIT’s most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.
**A Day in the Life**
+ Assist in researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide or customer systems
+ Assist in performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
+ Assist in testing, diagnosing, and fixing incidents
+ Participates in large system and subsystem planning
+ Help ensure that applications and systems are compliant with established quality standards and meet customer and regulatory requirements
+ Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
+ Participate in special projects as required
+ Supports the completion of technical tasks.
+ Assists with the solutions to technical problems of limited scope.
+ Assists with the coordination for new products, software, upgrades, and equipment.
+ Assists with documentation for processes and procedure related to computer systems and operations.
+ Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline
+ Ability to actively collaborate with others
+ Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
+ Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
+ Ability to manage projects and prioritize competing requirements in a fast-paced environment
**What You’ll Need to Deliver Your Best Every Day**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to both technical and non-technical resources
+ Ability to build meaningful relationships with manager and members of your team in a remote environment
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
+ Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology
+ A sense of genuine, intellectual curiosity and a nimble mindset
**What you Offer as a Stand-Out Candidate**
+ Familiarity with IT systems and demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages
+ Understanding of software development best practices
+ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
