JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Tooker lab seeks a part-time research assistant for our summer (Late May-August) research field season. The successful candidate will assist lab members and with ongoing research focused on insect ecology and plant-insect interactions in agricultural and natural systems. Time will be spent at various field sites, mostly in central Pennsylvania, as well as lab-based research as needed.

The successful candidate will be integral in establishing, maintaining, and collecting experimental research and data. Candidates will also gain a thorough understanding of the arthropod abundance and diversity within agricultural and natural systems. Funding beyond the summer field season maybe possible, as well as independent study opportunities if desired.
