**Summary:**
**The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:**
+ **RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards**
+ **RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team**
+ **RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization**
+ **RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned**
**For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room or Operating Room.**

+ **BLS (Basic Life Support)**
+ **RN (Registered Nurse)**
+ **ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department**

+ **Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing**
+ **Preferred Bachelor's Nursing**

**Shift Hours:** **6:30 AM - 5:00 PM**
