As a CT Technologist, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients by providing accurate computed tomography imaging. You will perform scans for a high-volume outpatient department. Because of this fast-paced workflow, efficiency and timeliness are essential. **A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 1:30PM - 10:00PM or 7:30AM - 4:30PM, including rotating holidays.**

**Green Health and Wellness Center will be the primary work location, but floating to Bath, Stow or Tallmadge will be required, as needed.**

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.

+ Verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.

+ Assure patient's safety and comfort during procedures.

+ Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.

+ Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

+ Perform VNA punctures as necessary.

+ Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

+ Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.

+ Observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems to appropriate individuals.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

+ Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing

+ Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire

+ Current state licensure

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

+ Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

+ Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

**Pay Range**

Minimum hourly: $31.00

Maximum hourly: $46.50
