**Position Description:** **RN**
**BayCare Health System** is currently seeking a **Registered Charge Nurse** to join our outstanding and compassionate **PACU** team at **St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital** .
**The RN responsibilities include:**
+ Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
+ Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
+ Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.
+ Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

**Qualifications:**
**Certifications and Licensures:**
+ BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
+ ACLS Certification if required by department
+ RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.
+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion.
**Experience:**
· 2 years of RN experience in acute care is required. At least one year of RN experience in PACU, emergency department, or critical care is preferred.
· 1 year of leadership experience is preferred
