**Role Overview**

As a **Radiation Therapist** , you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. You’ll administer treatments according to established standards, maintain accurate patient treatment records, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support high‑quality patient care throughout the treatment process.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed

+ Follow established standards, protocols, and safety practices

+ Maintain accurate treatment and medical records

+ Assist with patient setup, positioning, and verification

+ Operate treatment machines and related equipment

+ Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and care teams

+ Support workflow, room preparation, and patient throughput

+ Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education** – **Required**

+ Completion of an accredited **Radiation Therapy Technical Program** or equivalent

**Education – Preferred**

+ **Bachelor’s degree** in a related scientific field

**Certification & Licensure – Required**

+ State of Florida Radiation Therapy License

+ ARRT Certification – Radiologic Technologists

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Experience**

+ Radiation therapy experience preferred
