**Position Description:** **Assistant Nurse Manager/Patient Care Leader - RN**
**BayCare Health System** is currently seeking a **Registered Nurse** to join our outstanding and compassionate **Oncology** team at **St. Joseph’s Hospital** as an **Assistant Nurse Manager/Patient Care Leader** . **The Assistant Nurse Manager/Patient Care Leader responsibilities include:**
+ Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
+ Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process.
+ Being proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.
+ Providing 24 hour/7 day accountability care for assigned patients.

**Qualifications:**
**Certifications and Licensures:**
+ BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree in Nursing is required
**Experience:**
+ 2 years of RN experience in acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute is required. 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.
