Senior Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Software Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 10 years of experience in program management.

+ Experience architecting and developing large scale distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master’s, PhD degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.

+ Experience with technologies such as virtualization and global infrastructure, load balancing, networking, massive data storage, Hadoop, MapReduce, and security.

+ Experience managing execution and high quality product delivery.

+ Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead teams focused on Infrastructure; you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects with Google-sized impact. + Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, and resource allocation.

+ Work on massive distributed, large-scale systems, storage solutions, applications and entirely new platforms.

+ Identify and solve cross-functional and inter-team technical challenges.

+ Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.

+ Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication.
