**Position:** **Security Officer**
**Facility:** **St. Anthony's Hospital**
**The** **Security Officer** **performs general safety & security duties including:**
+ **Patrol and detection services**
+ **Assisting customers**
+ **Response and intervention responsibilities**
+ **Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety**
+ **Completes communication and documentation tools**
+ **Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner**
+ **Completes other duties as assigned**
+ **Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques.**

**Minimum Qualifications:**
**Certifications and Licensures**
+ **Driver's License (State of Florida)**
+ **IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year**
+ **Security D - Within 90 days**
+ **Preferred:** **FDLE (Law Enforcement)**
**Education**
+ **High School or Equivalent**
+ **Preferred:** **Associate's in Related Field**
**Experience**
+ **1 year Customer Service**
+ **Preferred:** **2 years Security**
+ **Preferred:** **1 year Healthcare in related field**
+ **Preferred:** **1 year in Hospital related field**
**Location:** **St. Petersburg, FL**
**Status:** **Part Time**
**Shift Hours:** **11:00 PM - 7:30 AM**
**Weekend Work:** **Every**
