**Position Summary**
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, delegates appropriate care activities, and ensures safe, high-quality outcomes for observation patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice
+ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update plans of care
+ Delegate appropriate patient care activities to support staff
+ Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
+ Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development

**Requirements**
+ ActiveRegistered Nurse (RN) license
+ BLS certification
+ Minimum6 months RN acute care experience
+ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
