**Shift:** Days | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
**Schedule:** Full-Time | Onsite
**Weekend Work:** Occasional

**Role Overview**
As a **Histologist** , you will be responsible for all phases of tissue processing, supporting accurate and timely diagnostic services within the pathology department.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Performing all phases of tissue processing from fixation to final slide
+ Performing special stains and histology techniques
+ Maintaining files, records, and documentation required by state and federal licensing boards
+ Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
+ Stocking and maintaining laboratory supplies
+ Performing other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Education**
**Required:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
**Preferred:**
+ Technical program completion or degree
+ Associate’s degree in a related field
+ Education specialization in Histotechnology
**Experience**
+ Laboratory‑related experience preferred
**Licensure / Certification**
**Required:**
+ ASCP Certified Histotechnician
**Preferred:**
+ ASCP Certified Technologist in Chemistry
