**BayCare** is currently in search of our newest **Acute** **Physical Therapist Assistant - Pool/PRN** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. **St. Anthony's Hospita** **l** , founded in 1931 by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, has a long tradition of providing a wide range of exceptional health care services to our community. **Acute Physical Therapist Assistant Key Responsibilities:**

+ Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.

+ Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional ADL (Activities of Daily Living) mobility interventions.

+ Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising therapist.

+ Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support recovery.

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and occupational therapists.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

+ Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.

+ Adhere to infection control and hospital policies.

**Qualifications:**

+ Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Requirements:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

+ Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

+ Required Associate's Physical Therapy

+ Preferred 1-year Physical Therapy Assistant
