TechOps Service Manager professionals work as the technical function leader for the assigned areas of the organization for the purpose of business-IT support, service management, escalation management, risk management, new technology transition management (BAU) and client relationship management for specified service portfolio. These individuals serve as the relationship linkage between the business organizations (macro processes) and TechOps/NAZ Tech. They provide valued support and guidance throughout key logistics pillars and considered/grow into subject matter experts within the functions they serve. They facilitate, as a lead, triage severity 1 & 2 incidents that impact the operations and enable the organization to achieve sustainability agreements (SLA) through the effective use of technology and related service support teams (AMS).
Maturity within the role grows as “trusted advisors” and function as a key point of contact for IT business stakeholders communicating decisions, priorities, and Product ownership with the appropriate levels of leadership regarding service requests, products/projects and initiatives. They represent TechOps to the Organization by promoting service mindset vision, value, services, and capabilities management. They also act as advocates on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure IT services meet their business priorities and needs. Individuals in this role must be able to communicate clearly, proactive mindset, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills. They work closely with others on intangible issues across organizational and business-entity boundaries using their knowledge of technology and opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Organization.
+ Responsible for end-to-end ownership and execution of Logistics Planning applications and services within the TechOps Supply & Logistics tower managing successful support execution; achieved SLA within budgeted teams at the right visibility to internal and external teams/stakeholders
+ Typically manages, and is accountable for, initiative(s) which impact the Planning Logistics pillar from Demand Planning through wholesaler execution interfacing with project teams to integrate new solutions.
+ Manages multiple service teams and actively collaborates with customers, peers and vendors on problem solving opportunities and developing / organizing quality service efforts within Planning domain with the discipline required to bring continuity within the solutions to deliver customer expectations (measured through SLA).
+ Manages issues and risks effectively, ensuring mitigations are in place and communicated to all stakeholders
+ Problem solving & trouble shooting experience within enterprise level Logistics applications (Cloud experience preferred (Azure, GCP, AWS))
+ Responsible for leading the modernization and transformation to Cloud services architecture through Product Supply Transformation Project (Liquid to Shipment Planning Optimization through Digital Twin Intelligence).
+ Well-spoken and clarifies the purpose, goals, scope and deliverables of the Planning logistics services tower.
+ Manages the service execution of the AMS teams, re-enforces process to sustain solutions through bug fixes, and manages backlog of scoped enhancements
+ Assembles and leads teams consisting of AB employees (both IT and Business) & vendor resources to triage critical SEV1/SEV2 issues (utilizes proactive technology)
+ Plays an active role in the future solution design and integrations, learning the subject matter, adopts the Product ownership role and asks questions/challenges the team and stakeholders
+ Guides the change management process effectively for Planning macro process leads
+ Understands and executes standard technology deliverables in accordance with the Anheuser-Busch MICS and process controls
+ Works with the various IT departments to achieve alignment on the supportability and architectural standards related to the technology being implemented including new Technology/Cloud implementations
+ Prepares and runs planning client meeting which drive the service level feedback and main interface to business-as-usual operations
+ Participates in and represents TechOps in project related meetings and supports TechOps principles
+ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and 2 years operational experience leading a range of medium and large teams
+ Technical expertise with medium and large enterprise applications, strongly recommend skill set – experience with (Azure Supply Chain Management, O9, SAP APO SNP/DP, INFOR, AI/ML Models), data mining/modeling (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), visual analytics (PowerBI, Looker)
+ Should have demonstrated experience in managing a range of medium and large application migration efforts to Cloud platforms, directly managing projects and technical components including solution migrations, data, integrations, and reporting.
+ Should have demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including internal zone company management, contractors/consultants, external vendors and support personnel. In addition, the individual should be proficient in team / staff management and show a demonstrated ability to be an effective people manager / leader as well as an effective service manager.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Should be proficient in developing, organizing / arranging incident related information, and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums. Must have experience presenting and making recommendations to senior management.
+ Should understand and show a demonstrated ability to manage technical support operations team.
