**Heart Failure Cardiologist (Cardiology)**

**Practice Information**

+ Join an established heart failure team comprised of an advanced heart failure cardiologist, APPs and nurses

+ The team is part of the larger Southwest Cardiology group comprised of a growing team of invasive, interventional, EP, advanced imaging, and structural heart specialists, as well as a robust cardiothoracic surgery program

+ The group is also connected to the heart transplant and LVAD center in Salt Lake City

+ The advanced heart failure practice is supported with advanced imaging modalities including cardiac PET-CT, Pyrophosphate scintigraphy and cardiac MRI

+ This medical facility is a referral center for trauma and emergency services and houses medical surgical units, a 32-bed ICU, a 50-bed emergency department and fifteen operating rooms

**Requirements**

+ Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Heart Failure

+ Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license

+ U.S. ACGME Residency

**Community Information**

The city of St. George has a population of 99,958 and the county has 191,226. As mentioned, the area has recently experienced major population growth, and the trend is expected to continue. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation’s largest concentration of national parks. Recreational activities for the entire family include boating, camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Overall, you will find sunshine 300 days out of the year. Educational opportunities are available through Utah Tech University (UT) and Southern Utah University (SUU). Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre. Southern Utah is near Las Vegas, NV (1.5 hrs.) and Salt Lake City, UT (4 hrs.)

$7.25 - $999.99
