**The opportunity**

You’ll work closely with FSO leadership as well as engagement (current active work), pursuit (pipeline opportunities), sector, and account teams to maintain, create, and facilitate reporting for FSO Americas leadership. You’ll be responsible for addressing ad-hoc data and report requests all while meeting the needs of the business and supporting leadership decisions. This reporting includes a variety of actual fiscal year-to-date views of the data that helps our leadership measure themselves against the fiscal-year plan in order to gauge how well the business is currently operating. A main focus on setting up these reports is automation so that the team can operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible in order to be able to provide data and reporting to largest group of end users. You’ll have the opportunity to liaise with different facets of the business and business leadership to create this reporting and appropriately communicate the scope of our data.

**Your key responsibilities**

+ Manage and query large sets of data, including but not limited to operational and business data, across multiple SQL databases for both Power BI and static excel reports

+ Provide existing or new reports based on business need, all while becoming familiar with all of the various sets of data that we house in our databases

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and have exceptional time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

+ Deliver operational and strategic support to meet the business’s people, quality, growth, and market leadership goals

+ Liaising between subject matter professionals and functional specialists such as finance, knowledge management or markets professionals

+ Assisting on various strategic special projects as the project leader

+ Providing ongoing status / management reports to senior leadership

+ Overtime may be required, will vary based on the volume of the work

+ Flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones, when applicable

**Skills and attributes for success**

+ Strong technical skills (i.e., Microsoft office, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio)

+ Ability to liaison between business needs and existing or new reports or processes

+ Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives at one time

+ Ability to utilize and leverage internal subject matter resources

+ Strong time management and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication skills-oral and written

+ Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the services offered by the business areas of responsibility, understand how those services are delivered to clients, and what role specialists play in delivering those services.

+ Understand the role and operations of other major services that intersect and integrate with the business areas.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

+ A minimum of 6+ years of related experience

+ Strong technical skills including Power BI (Power Query), Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio (C# and vb.net coding languages), Microsoft Excel

+ Ability to work independently and with the team, must rely on influencing skills to get results

+ Ability to interpret information and data and identify trends

+ Strong influencing and strategic skills are required to work with other areas across FSO Consulting to drive results. Also required to collaborate effectively with other functional groups and team members within EY

**Ideally, you will also have**

+ Past experience working within professional services industry

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $98,100 to $178,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,700 to $202,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
