+ This position demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment. Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

+ Must handle multiple tasks with changing priorities from various stakeholders.

+ Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively.

+ Document test plans, test cases , come up with automation plan.

+ Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, bug reporting skills and the ability to communicate clearly with third parties.

+ Advanced knowledge of SQL -Strong database skills. Query various databases using advanced SQL. Database platforms include HDFS and HMS.

+ Analyzing data and finding anomalies using strong analytic and organizational skills, with the ability to influence change

+ Analyze complex datasets , carry out data profiling and understand schema, data interrelationships, and data flows using SQL, SparkSQL, HiveQL etc.

+ Scripting skills in Python/Java


The Apple Media Products (AMP) Analytics Engineering QA team is responsible for ensuring the Quality and integrity of the data collected and reported on customer experience data. We are seeking Data Test Engineers who are interested in AMP products, want to make a difference to them and to Apple as a whole, improving the data quality, and learn AMP cutting-edge tools and technologies.

**Education & Experience**

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

**Additional Requirements**

+ Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. Teradata ,HDFS, AWS ) and data pipelines (e.g. Kafka)

+ Experience with source control systems (SVN, Git)

+ Experience using mobile devices, iOS knowledge is a plus
