As a systems analyst Sr on our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organization leverages its Data Lakehouse platform on Databricks. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable data solutions, designing new data products that drive insights and value across the enterprise. Acting as a bridge between business and technology, you will collaborate with technical product managers and engineers to define, develop, test and deliver robust data pipelines. Beyond ingestion, you will enrich datasets with the right metadata and governance standards to ensure they are discoverable, trusted and reusable across the company. This role requires a unique blend of analytical expertise, product ownership mindset, and systems thinking – ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution.
_As a systems analyst sr, you will…_
+ **Lead Enterprise Data Product Design:** Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, value-driven data products on our enterprise Lakehouse platform (Databricks). Define Product features, use cases and success metrics that align with strategic goals.
+ **Pipeline Development and Delivery:** Partner with technical product managers and engineering teams to design, test, and deliver robust data pipelines. Ensure timely ingestion, transformation and integration of enterprise data sources into reusable and high-quality data sets.
+ **Metadata management and Data governance:** Enrich data assets with meaningful, metadata, documentation and lineage tracking to ensure discoverability, trust and usability across the organization. Apply data quality frameworks, enforce standards, and collaborate with data stewards to maintain integrity and consistency across the analytics ecosystem.
_We’d love to hear from people with:_
+ 7+ years of experience designing and delivering data products.
+ 5+ years of SQL experience
+ 3+ years of experience working in Databricks or on a similar platform.
+ 3+ years of experience using Jira, confluence and/or other similar tools.
+ 2+ years working with PySpark (Preferred)
+ 2+ years of work experience with Collibra or similar metadata catalog tools (Preferred)
+ Experience with making data products AI ready (Preferred)
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in fast paced and cross functional environments.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into business value and build alignment across diverse teams.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
