As a business analysis manager on the **Store Development Finance** team, you will support a highly dynamic organization that is pivotal to Starbucks’s long-term growth initiatives. You will be part of a world-class finance team and provide financial support to maximize portfolio revenue and profitability, and to ensure analytical rigor is embedded in all key decisions. This role also contributes to Starbucks success through strong partnership with cross-functional teams and the development of complex financial and operational decision-making tools.
**_As a business analysis manager supporting Store Development, you will…_**
+ Lead cross-functional projects to re-imagine and enhance Store Development processes, systems, and tools, with a focus on process efficiency, leadership data visibility and source system utilization.
+ Develop strong stakeholder relationships to assess future business support needs. Understand key issues facing the Store Development business and pro-actively seek solutions.
+ Conduct ad hoc analyses to support critical business decisions around portfolio optimization. Lead analyses of net present value (NPV), return on investment (ROI) and profit loss (P&L). Conduct research, create financial models, and define appropriate financial measures. Quantify opportunities and risks and recommend alternatives.
+ Model Starbucks’s mission and values by promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and co-creation through peer leadership, ideation, and challenging the status quo.
+ Review new business proposals, identify issues, risks, and opportunities. Execute financial due diligence and explain ramifications of findings and recommendations for project progress.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to set targets, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure results, and improve processes. Consult with senior leadership to present data, propose solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.

+ Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and business planning (7 years)
+ Applicable retail industry experience (5 years)
+ Contributing to and leading cross-functional teams (5 years)
+ Making recommendations to decision makers (5 years)
**_Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_**
+ Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and finance peers
+ Ability to communicate complex finance subject matter clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to audiences with varied financial acumen
+ Ability to effectively present information to senior leaders
+ Ability to influence without authority vertically and horizontality throughout the organization and with cross- functional teams.
+ Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
+ Business analysis skills, with the ability to see implications and provide consultative solutions and recommendations
+ Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage projects
+ Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
+ Ability to quickly identify the information needed to evaluate new business situations and to collect and organize appropriate quantitative and qualitative information
+ Working knowledge of Essbase / Hyperion preferred
+ Working knowledge of Tableau and data visualization software preferred
