The Case Management Coordinator must be an RN or RRA/ART with previous quality services experience, preferably CPHQ.
A minimum of 2 years hospital or other commensurate experience in performing data retrieval and tabulation formatting of statistical layouts.
Requires knowledge or understanding or integration or software and hardware. Demonstrates a willingness to learn new programs and obtain further education regarding computerization.
Must be knowledgeable in ICD-9-CM Coding.
Continued education should be pursued through attendance of lectures, workshops, and symposiums.
Communication Skills: Case Management Coordinator has regular contact with physician’s nurses, staff, and all medical personnel requesting or questioning data relating to the department. Requires effective communication to ensure satisfactory performance of work activities. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to resolve problems.
Able to lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) pounds independently.
Capable of sustained sitting for at least four (4) hours.
Good visual acuity either alone or with corrective lenses.
Adequate hearing either alone or with a hearing device.
Able to communicate clearly in English including reading comprehension and writing legibly.
Must have manual dexterity to perform fine motor tasks to accomplish the skills or requirements necessary to perform the job.
Able to move mobile chart storage racks and will obtain assistance, when needed.
Have no restrictions on lifting and being able to bend.
