Assembly Technician

**Position Title:** Assembly Technician

**Reports to:** Production Supervisor

**Location:** Reedsburg, WI - NUK

**Shift:** 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 11pm to 7am

**Job Summary:** The Assembly Technician is responsible for effectively performing material handling, set up and troubleshooting duties.

**Job Duties:**

+ Read, understand and follow Shop Orders and Work Instructions.

+ Assures adherence to, and follows operating policies and procedures to support plant performance goals, safe work practices and product quality standards.

+ Accurately complete required reporting including date entry into SAP.

+ Obtain/Maintain required licenses and certifications.

+ Perform operator duties for manufacturing operations.

+ Perform set-up duties for manufacturing operations.

+ Assist with sample/validation runs on new and revised products.

+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine malfunctions and processing issues.

+ Perform material handling duties as required.

+ Perform routine safety checks on equipment.

+ Machine operation including controls, safety switches, restarts/start-ups, shut downs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Attend required corporate training/meetings

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

+ All job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. In lieu of educational requirements, prior manufacturing work experience is required.

+ Complete and pass required medical screening

+ Intermediate math and reading

+ Intermediate computer skills

+ Procedure comprehension

+ Ability to adapt to changing manufacturing priorities, including overtime schedules

+ Ability to achieve and consistently perform at required manufacturing rates

+ Ability to work independently

+ Ability to stand/walk up to 90% of the shift

+ Lift up to 50 pounds

+ Must be able to frequently bend and twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities

+ Push/Pull up to 200 pounds of force.
