Acquisition Strategy Manager

The Global Demand Center Acquisition team is looking for an Acquisition Strategy Manager to manage, optimize, and scale Microsoft’s Commercial Cloud Marketing customer acquisition investments and performance. Responsibilities will include optimizing investments to drive high priority business outcomes, coordinating new campaigns & creative development, reporting, and connecting upper/mid funnel activities to downstream revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate can manage and own the performance of multiple acquisition campaigns, is able to work with multiple stakeholders, and can deliver quality work in a fast-paced and always evolving environment. This person will focus on digital strategy, agile approach to media investment and planning, and creative optimization and development. As an acquisition strategy manager, you will develop digital marketing strategies that support revenue-based acquisition goals for a B2B audience and be accountable to deliver growth within the Commercial Cloud product portfolio.

**Responsibilities**

•Develop and enable paid acquisition strategy, creative, measurement and learn plans that deliver against business objectives.

• Support fiscal year planning and quarterly briefing cycles by providing strategy recommendations, iterative budget scenario planning, and data-based insights to stakeholders.

• Provide insightful guidance and recommendations to improve campaign performance and drive business impact for net-new and evergreen initiatives.

• Create, manage, and maintain detailed work-back schedules for launches to communicate and ensure alignment across teams and agencies.

• Lead the media creative development process and ensure that marketing communications are of highest creative standards. This process includes creative agency briefings, managing workback schedules, providing feedback based on best practices, routing for stakeholder reviews, and general agency management.

• Report campaign insights that inform the broader strategy and business impact to stakeholders across the business. This includes monthly reporting, in-depth quarterly business reviews, executive business reviews, quarterly business reporting for global markets.

**Required/Minimum Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 1+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience

o OR equivalent experience.

**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience

o OR equivalent experience.

•Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a focus on tangible, measurable recommendations.

•Experience working in highly collaborative environments with multiple stakeholders and with competing priorities.

•Agency experience is not required but is a plus.

•B2B marketing experience is not required but is a plus.
