JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Berks Food Services is seeking organized and motivated employees, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. Morning, mid-day, evening, and weekend cashier positions are available.

Job Duties

+ Handle credit or campus dining dollar transactions with customers

+ Scan goods and collect payments

+ Ensure pricing is correct

+ Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets

+ Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information

+ Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment

+ Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

Requirements and Qualifications

+ Basic math knowledge.

+ Communication

+ Customer service

+ Efficiency

+ Attention to detail

+ Basic knowledge of point of sales system
