The Associate Director, Business Insights Specialist (BIS) is a key member of the Sandoz Strategic Insights & Analytics. In partnership with marketing, sales leadership, finance, market access and other various key stakeholders, the business insights specialist is responsible for using expert market research and analytics to provide meaningful market insights which enable effective, data driven decision-making. This position is dedicated to support the Market Access POD. This position is a strategic and trusted advisor to Sandoz Market Access, Payer, Access Strategy and Patient Service teams. This position requires an analytical thought leader to deliver best-in-class actionable insights to drive data-driven decisions. Ideal candidate has deep understanding of specialty and biosimilar business, customers, and performance drivers. The business specialists must demonstrate ability to work independently and proactively to meet business needs and deadlines. Major Accountabilities • Generate, integrate, and translate payer and provider insights and analytics into growth opportunities and tactics to influence strategic contracting decisions for inline and pipeline biosimilars and specialty • Identify, design, and execute integrated analytics to inform market access and sales pull-through strategies and tactics • Partner with Market Access function to provide payer contracting and pricing assumption to develop GtN forecast • Assist in ideation and development to create reporting dashboards, measurable performance KPIs for pricing and payer performance • Support Market Access function in new product launch pricing, competitive listing pricing, GTN trends, payer/GPO/IDN profiling • Manage market access data & syndicated reports purchases and vendor management • Support market research projects related to payer segmentation, pricing research etc. for Brand and Market access functions • Ad-hoc analytics including analysis around health care policy changes, payer & customer trends and access related intelligence • Represent I&A Market Access POD in collaboration with all I&A PODs to shape the I&A vision and build impactful insight capabilities across forecasting, market research and analytics. --Develop new techniques, explore innovative data assets and drive standardization across the I&A organization • Remain current on external and internal guidelines. Train and fully align with compliance requirements. This position will be located at the Sandoz Princeton, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400 and $237,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. \#Sandoz \n\n\n\n **Position Title:** Associate Director, Business Insights Specialist **Role Requirements:** What you’ll bring to the role: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics or Marketing Analytics Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in science, buisness or related field • Minimum 7 years in marketing research and/or analytics or related experience involving: framing of strategic questions to be solved, generating insights (primary research or secondary analytics), synthesizing implications, driving for practical/actionable solutions, measuring impact • Solid understanding of research methods, experimental primary market research design (quantitative and qualitative) and specialty pharma, hospital data sources • Solid understanding of analytics, databases (e.g., IMS, APLD) in the pharma industry. Knowledge and experience of working with specific data sets of pharma and specialty pharmacy data sources including sales, prescription, and claims • Expertise in building MS Excel based complex forecast and dashboards, familiarity with BI tools like Alteryx and Qlik Preferred: • Experience in Brand Marketing and/or other Business areas preferred (e.g., Managed Markets, Sales, Sales Ops) • Strategic thinking and ability to provide integrated insights; business and technical problem solving • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate a complex reports and analysis into simple ‘business speak’ and present results to internal clients up to the executive level • Strong learning agility, i.e. ability to pick up new trends and learn quickly Why Sandoz? 500 million!
