As our Medical Surgical Nurse at Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

+ Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels
+ Quickly report and address any changes in condition
+ Patiently and thoroughly explain tests results and procedures to patients and family members
+ Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention
+ Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.
+ 9 months RN experience.
+ Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
+ American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
+ Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position.
+ Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.
+ One year of pediatric RN experience.
+ American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support
