**Job Description**

Robert Bosch LLC is looking for a Technical Project Manager at our Plymouth, MI location.

Technical project management for North American driver assistance projects with focus on Park Assistance systems including autonomous parking features for Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) such as APA - Autonomous Park Assistance, PSC - Park Steering Control, SDW - Side Distance Warning, POC - Pull Out Control, BSM - Blind Spot Monitoring, MEB - Maneuver Emergency Braking, including fusion with Near Range Camera Systems, NRCS.

This position includes, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

+ Lead project development teams including software developers, application / calibration engineers and sub-system / component project managers to develop project specific solutions. Technical lead of hardware engineering and manufacturing plant, where applicable.

+ Plan and maintain project budget and schedule.

+ First point of contact as technical customer interface and engineering lead for customer projects.

+ Lead system development, validation, and delivery according to guidelines and process landscape (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE).

+ Report project status to management in US and Germany.

+ Work package definition and tracking, release planning, resource planning, quality assurance according to Bosch Driver Assistance process landscape.

+ Ensure customer requirements elicitation, management and tracking is effective, including test coverage.

+ Support / lead root cause analysis of defects during the development phase to understand the scope and adapt project plan accordingly.

+ Organize internal and customer meetings (domestic and international trips).


**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

+ 5+ years of experience with automotive customer projects in the development area.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering discipline.

+ Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline.

+ At least 3 years managing complex Software and System Architecture projects.

+ 3 years of experience with System Requirements engineering.

+ Strong leadership and a personal sense of ownership for all facets of a project.

+ Highly self-motivated and willingness to dive right in.

+ Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative thinking.

+ Experience in systems / requirements engineering. Experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry.

+ Experience in automotive electronics development.

+ Knowledge of driver assistance sensor technologies and functions, high interest to work on exciting new driver assistance technologies.

+ Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer.

+ Good understanding of vehicle architecture and driver assistance Interfaces.

+ Ability to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams, negotiate with customer, support global organization, and understanding with working in global multicultural projects.

+ Professional automotive software engineering exposure/experience.

+ Understanding or interest in Agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.)

+ Capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion with strong analytical skills that supports a systematic approach to problem resolution and strong communication skills to discuss issues/challenges with global development teams and external customers.
