Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer **(Multiple Positions)** at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. Responsible for analyzing customer and Bosch internal requirements to select the right brake product that fits customer needs. Negotiate requirements with the customer to facilitate implementation that best fits the Bosch product. Responsible for translating customer requirements into high level design, including maintaining the system-architecture and influencing software architecture for the given customer project. Responsible for deploying customer requirements into different components (ECU HW, hydraulic, software). Responsible for creating system level tests to validate customer requirements. Support functional safety activities in the customer project by helping to create functional-safety goals based on customer requirements, in cooperation with the customer. Support the FMEA process for the customer project in helping to identify and rate failure modes, as well as define any corrective actions. Support projects during acquisitions phase in evaluating requirements against current implementation for cost estimate. Act as reviewer for derived requirements and design proposals. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of experience using embedded-systems and microcontroller architecture for product development within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1). Developing algorithms for Brake system controllers such as ABS, VDC, TCS or longitudinal controller (i.e. HDC, ACC, AEB); (2). Software development following the V-Model Process, compliant with either CMMI or ASPICE process models; (3). Requirement engineering using DOORS elicitation and management; (4). Using Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) in customer projects; and (5). Functional safety analysis according to ISO26262. Apply below.
