The Avionics industry is entering into a new exciting age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight. Be part of a team that will lead the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight Next Generation Traffic and Surveillance avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms, from Air Transport and Business Jets to UAM/UAS. You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell’s leadership position. You will take a technical leadership role in creating system solutions for the TCAS and Transponder Product Team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• Advanced knowledge of TCAS and Transponder products and development lifecycle

• 7+ years of experience with Avionics equipment

WE VALUE

• Experience with providing technical leadership of cross-functional design teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test engineers.

• Advanced knowledge of TCAS and Transponder products and development lifecycle

• Experience with the FAA certification process for avionics

• Experience in working with aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, Dassault, etc

• Experience with Agile development processes

• Experience in working with industry teams to define ARINC and RTCA MOPS specifications

• Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

• Leadership of diverse and global teams

• Expert with systems development processes

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done

• Ability to adapt dictated by project changes

• Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people

• Making autonomous decisions

• Significant engineering experience
