Cycle Counter II

Position Title: Cycle Counter II

Department: Inventory Control

Building: YOH

Reports to: Inventory Control Supervisor

Hours/Shift: Monday-Thursday 7a-5:30p; Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:30am

Our Inventory Cycle Counter II is responsible for monitoring and performing cycle counts on inventory on forklift equipment.

Responsibilities:

+ Performs daily cycle counts on the items assigned

+ Reconciles counts within ASW (WM) system

+ Identifies the causes of inventory discrepancies

+ Makes recommendations to correct recurring errors

+ Reports results of audits to management on a regular basis

+ Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Forklift certification required (Cherry Picker & Reach Truck)

+ Experience using RF (radio frequency) devise and Warehouse Management System desired

+ Must be a self-starter, ambitious and highly motivated

+ Ability to work independently within established parameters and meet deadlines

+ Ability to reason and solve problems

+ Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English

+ Knowledge of basic math skills and some computer experience

+ Ability to use a calculator and perform basic math calculations accurately

+ Detail oriented

+ Experience with cycle counting a plus.

+ Responsible with a Strong Work Ethic

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision

+ Ability to work at a fast pace to meet demands and deadlines

Requirements

+ Experience with computers including Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

+ Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems

+ Prior experience in Inventory Control, shipping and/or receiving a plus

+ Forklift certification required (Cherry Picker & Reach Truck)

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

+ Must be able to work in comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which may cause discomfort

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception

+ Ability to work in warm and cool temperatures

+ Ability to bend, twist, lift & walk on a continuous & repetitive basis
