**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This **Cybersecurity Specialist** position can work out in one of the following locations: **Alameda (CA), Bend (OR), Chicago (IL), or Orlando (FL)** .

Cybersecurity Specialist implements and reviews cybersecurity policies and tools for a variety of products in order to minimize risks to the business and consumers. Subject Matter Expert in cybersecurity topics and technologies, ensuring a strong cybersecurity posture for our ADC R&D product software portfolio. Front line employee in preventing cybersecurity incidents in our software or embedded software products.

**What You’ll Work On**

+ Develop, implement and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes for one or more software and systems in tandem with architects and system engineers.

+ Work together with development operations and development teams to develop and implement monitoring and security solutions in stand-alone and embedded product software and supporting applications.

+ Secure one or more applications and up to thousands of computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.

+ Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks.

+ Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems and security configuration administration and define and implement solutions to reduce risk to systems and accounts.

+ Assign and manage breach and incident response activities for product and supporting applications.

+ Actively monitor, assess, recommend, and lead tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to cloud computing environments.

+ Lead remediation efforts after security assessment findings outline weaknesses requiring attention.

+ Work with a variety of cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies

+ Support Audit Readiness during external and internal Audit Activities

+ Ensure compliance of business continuity management policies and process in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements

+ Develop and maintain information security standards, guidelines, and procedures

+ Align with industry guidelines to implement secure design policies and procedures

+ Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic reviews

+ Implement and maintain security controls

+ Conduct threat and risk analysis and analyze the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to eliminate risk, performance, and capacity issues

+ Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

+ Keep up to date with the current and proposed security changes impacting regulatory, privacy and security industry best practice guidance

+ Attend regular project and implementation meetings and serve as the security consultant to help guide secure practices

**QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field


+ **0-5** **years** cybersecurityorITmanagementsystemexperiencewithastrongpreference for product security experience (consumer facing apps and services)

+ Hold one or more cybersecurity certifications including: CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or additional AWS advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, VMware Certified Professional or has completed necessary cyber coursework.

+ Self-motivated,well-organizedandabletopositioncontrolsinanticipation of threats.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
