Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Software Engineer OR Software Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK! The successful candidate will be assigned to develop and deliver software products for various classified programs.

Essential Functions:

+ Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities and the Agile process for the Mission Systems Software and/or tool development to support DevSecOps initiative.

+ Review of software requirements for completeness and understandability.

+ Perform detailed design, code, and testing of those requirements at the domain level as well as support of system and operational testing.

+ Support tool development to support streamlining of current processes and development of continuous test integration environment.

+ Candidate will be expected to have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

This position may be filled at either the Associate Software Engineer OR Software Engineer level.

Basic Qualifications for an **Associate Software Engineer:**

• Bachelor’s of Science in a STEM discipline plus 0 years of experience

• Knowledge of or experience with C and C++ Object-Oriented Design and Development

• Knowledge of or experience with Python

• Must have US Citizenship

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP (Special Access Programs). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

• Must have reliable means to get to work on time every work day. Taxis or ride-sharing services not permitted. Worksite not readily accessible by public transportation.

• Bachelor’s of Science in a STEM discipline plus 2 years of experience; OR a Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience

• Experience with C and C++ Object-Oriented Design and Development

• Experience with Python

• Must have US Citizenship

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP (Special Access Programs). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications **for both levels** :

• Software emphasis degree – BS SW Engr. / BS Comp. Engr. / BS Comp. Sci. / similar

• Masters of Science in a STEM discipline with at least 2 years of software development experience in embedded real-time software

• Fluent in the following languages C, C++, Python

• Familiarity with communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553)

• Experience in complete software development life-cycle

• Experience in Agile SW methodologies – Scrum / Kanban / similar

• Experience with software development in real-time embedded systems for military applications

• Experience in using integrated development environment tools (e.g. Rhapsody) and real-time operating systems (e.g. Integrity)

• Active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance

• PAR Access program clearance

Salary Range: $55,800.00 - $83,600.00Salary Range 2: $67,400.00 - $101,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
