Materials Management Tech

Part-time, 48 hours per pay period, Days

Job Objectives: Requisition, receive, store, stock and distribute supplies and maintain inventories according to established schedules and procedures using data entry for stocking lists and inventory control.

Education/Knowledge/Skills: A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Courses should include typing, mathematics, ten key calculator. Must be able to read with comprehension, write legibly, and perform basic arithmetic calculations. Must understand instructions and be proficient in the use of a ten key calculator or computer calculator keypad. Familiarity with computer hardware and software is preferred. Must be capable of successfully completing on-the-job training in hospital methods and office procedures.

Experience: Storeroom, inventory control, detail posting experience, and understanding of hospital supplies are preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
