Partner with Pediatric Infectious Disease (ID), Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship (ASP), and VCH Quality and Patient Safety, and Pediatric Quality Improvement (QI) Teams (content experts) to assess process, outcomes, and associated trends related to institutional initiatives, analyze departmental requirements and information technology needs. The Business Analysis Manager serves as the senior business technology analyst and manager for the Pediatric Infectious Disease Department that is responsible for planning, analyzing, defining, documenting, testing and supporting all quality and project initiatives.
The division of pediatric infectious diseases features nationally and internationally-recognized leaders in vaccine development and vaccine safety, bacterial infections such as pertussis and staphylococcus aureus, viral infections such as influenza and coronaviruses (e.g. SARS), pediatric HIV/AIDS, global health, antimicrobial stewardship, and the care of children with compromised immune systems.

+ Prepares, implements, monitors, and updates project plans. Coordinates with the system’s owner and upper level management to ensure the actions are consistent with the approved plan. Oversees the design, construction, testing, and implementation of the system.

+ Directs a team of subject matter experts, technical specialists (HealthIT, VCH Analytics, EMR Vendor Technical Support), and support staff to produce a business plans and implement project plans
